MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in an applicable discipline.
In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
- Two (2) years of professional engineering and scientific experience in design, development, documentation and operation of computer systems, software and databases employing specialized database development tools for application to ERDC systems.
- Must be able to pass successfully a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) background check.
- Ability to secure and maintain a Secret clearance
. (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 5%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 5%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a professional office setting and laboratory testing environment, including the normal office equipment (computer, fax machines, copier), laboratory equipment, and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 20 pounds. Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range: $74,000 to $85,000 per year.
