MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA degree in physical science or engineering.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of DOECAP, HASQARD, and analytical laboratory quality assurance programs.
- Highly experienced in environmental compliance, regulatory implementation, and regulatory permitting/field oversight/inspection activities.
- Familiarity with the DOE verification of readiness processes.
- Maintain proficiencies in the following via periodic training:
- WTP Site Access
- Radworker II
- Hazwoper 40-hour
- Respiratory Clearance (Medical, respirator training, etc.)
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Capable of reading, interpreting, and understanding DOE environmental, regulatory oversight, program, and project management policies, practices, and procedures.
- Expert writing skills.
- Working level knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities.
- Ability to interface successfully with senior level management.
- Ability to work with government, regulatory agency, and contractor personnel to solve problems and formulate strategies for success.
- Working level knowledge of DOE program and project management practices, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in supporting programs and projects with analysis, tracking, monitoring, assessments, walk-downs, reviews and coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Extensive experience using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel, and/or other MS Office tools.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 10 pounds. Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range: $150,000 to $175,000 per year.
